About Me

Jacqueline Dee is an Authorised Marriage Celebrant with boundless energy and a creative heart. Sydney born and raised, Jacqueline and her husband of 26 years moved to the Northern Illawarra to raise their two children in the close knit community of Helensburgh NSW, 23 years ago.

With a background in both event management and travel and tourism, Jacqueline excels in her core organisational and communication skills. Further studies led Jacqueline to a career shift and she entered the field of Family and Relationship Counselling in 2005, a role she continues in today. Jacqueline has had experience as an Educator, is a Senior Group Trainer and a Clinical Specialist in Trauma recovery supporting survivors of the 2013-2017 Royal Commission. She has held the position of LGBTIQ communities rep in her workplace and has experience working with Step-families.

With a passion for music and writing and an eye for detail Jacqueline states ‘becoming a Celebrant just feels like a natural progression for me’.

Family has been at the forefront of Jacqueline’s life both personally and professionally and she underlines the importance and value of ceremony and ritual within our culture and society. Her professionalism, cheerfulness, good humour and optimism are a winning combination in her role as a Celebrant.
